Spring Break Week in Review

Last Week: Spring Break
Cane Creek Missionary Church Next Level Ministries,Inc. held a Youth Revival.  Twenty-eight souls were saved at the event.  The revival was tipped off by a rocking comedic act from Darrell Charles.  Charles shared his testimony in a colorful skit that showed GOD's love, grace, and mercy throughout his life.  All thanks be to GOD!  The following days classes were held and speakers include Sheila Ward.  The events were truly spectacular and well needed in wake of spring break.

Mania in March
March Madness was nothing short of the title.  Basketball thrills were all around as top seeds toppled and favorites were forgotten. (Not to mention the only Cinderella, Arizona. ) These favorites and top seeds include 3 Syracuse, 1 Pittsburgh, 3 Kansas, and 1 Louisville.  The final four is a huge surprise to many. Who had Michigan St. over Louisville in the Final Four? Who had Villanova over Pitt?  Whatever the reason,  stories at this time every year from these players are amazing.  Take Scottie Reynolds of VU.  Reynolds was adopted as a child and lived in Virginia for most of his life.  In Virginia, he became an amazing scorer averaging 28.4 ppg at his Herndon High School and was named to the 2006 McDonald's All-American.  Reynolds, Saturday, made the game winner against number one seeded Pitt to advance to the Final Four.  Just recently he finds the whereabouts of his birth mother in Alabama.  The junior guard, Reynolds, says he is not ready to open that book yet and will wait to meet her face to face.

Hibachi's Back Baby
Gilbert Arenas return Saturday March 28, 2009, to the court against the Pistons.  Arenas comes back after a year of only eight games and knee surgery and long rehab.  The Wizards are already a different team with Agent Zero.  Arenas says that he has "retired" his popular blog in spite the fans enthusiasm for it.
