Liberty Tech Hoops: Last of 2009

Ricky Williams, Marlon Dotson, and Chris Johnson appeared in their last games as Crusaders Tuesday against White Station.  Joe Jackson, a Junior Guard for White Station, is an amazing talent with the basketball and his will to win showed Tuesday over the defense orriented Crusaders.  The Crusaders played hard, leading for most of the game until the late stages of the game.  White Station started to make a run. Joe Jackson had 32 of the 58 points scored by White Station. Kendall Anthony, Tarius Johnson, and Cordaro Williams were the leading scorers for LIberty scoring 49 of the 55 points from the Crusaders.  Anthony with 20, Johnson with 15, and C.Williams with 14 was not enough.  Loosing at the last minute, the Crusaders fell just short of a state tourney appearance.  The Crusaders did, however advance further than last years team that was probably more talented.
