The Liberty Tech soccer team left school Friday afternoon at 12:50. This was just after three fire trucks made their trips to Liberty because of a fire . In Nashville, the Lady Crusaders were to play Hillwood and Overton. Friday , Liberty played Hillwood . The Hilltoppers was on top first. Liberty yet fought on. Halfway through the first half, rain began to fall on the Hilltoppers field. In the second half , Jessica Viars scored the Lady Crusaders' one and only goal. At the end of the game, the score was 3-1, Hillwood.
The next day, Liberty was scheduled to take on John Overton High School. Players arrived on Overton's still wet, soupy, moppy field that lied above overlooking the school. The first half began with

Back to School again
On August 6, 2008, classes will resume at Liberty Tech and all JMCSS schools. Though somethings have stayed the same, like the dress code, somethings have change. One thing for example, is lunch prices. Students who do not receive reduced lunch will pay $1.75 for lunches while reduced lunch is at $0.40. Liberty's former baseball coach Lanier English moved on to another school. The new coach has yet to be publicly announced.
Sport News: Tryouts
All students interested in playing soccer, basketball, and volleyball,cross country and did not attend spring and summer tryouts (or your sport did not have a tryout) is encouraged to contact the coach of the respective team as soon as possible. Keep in mind that every athlete must have a completed physical.

Liberty Tech Sports News: MTSU Women's Soccer Camp
Liberty Tech Girls' Soccer Team returned today from their week of Soccer at the MTSU Women's Soccer Camp. The soccer camp began on Sunday. Liberty played CCS, CPA, United(club team), and Dickson. A training cession was held each day with an exception of Sunday,the opening day and Thursday, the closing day. Each team played at least two games per day and at most three. Liberty Tech won an award of inspiration. Liberty showed attributes of a winner in that they never gave up at no matter what part of the game it was whether tied, down, or up.

Liberty Tech All -Star Weekend
Next week Liberty Tech will host a three-point contest, dunk contest, and All-Star game on May 30th and 31st. This two day event will host West Tennessee elite high school basketball players. This event will benefit children with down syndrome. Liberty Tech has a few players in the All-Star weekend. Lady Crusader guards Katie Coughlin (Senior) and Freshman Felicia Ingram will participate in the three-point shooting contest. Senior Charles Holt will play in the All -Star game.
