On Thursday, August 21, 2008, Liberty Tech Lady Crusader soccer team played Jackson South Side in a scrimage at Liberty Tech. Going into the game, Liberty was the favorite to win. In spite the implied and unspoken predictions, Liberty Tech got down early in the first half 1-0. Still, Liberty fight back against the emotional let down. Few minutes later, Liberty's Felicia Ingram scored and tied the game 1-1. Although Liberty made several attempts to score, Liberty Tech ended the game 1-1. Next, Liberty looks to begin their season against Westview on Thursday, August 28, 2008, at Liberty.

Local News and Events: Back 2 School Bash 2008
The Back 2 School Bash 2008 will be held at its usual location Highland Park Jackson, TN on Saturday, July 19, 2008. Free food, free school supplies, and other free information will be handed out to all those who attend. Also, free prizes given away. Please dress appropriately for games, basketball, and more.
