Week in Review

Liberty Beat
This week the Liberty Lady Crusaders played 6 games in the Dyersburg and Union Camps. Liberty is 8-0 this summer and the main goal for the team is clear, improve every game.

Other News
In other sports news, it came at no surprise, to many, to see the Falcons release former star QB Michael Vick. This was completely expected to happen. The Red Socks are now 8-0 on their arch rival New York Yankees.Today on ESPN Radio's Mike and Mike in the Morning, John Legend teamed up with Mike Greenburg as they discussed last night's tough loss for the Magic and other news.

NBA Finals

The Magic let yet another close game slip through their inexperienced fingers and into the Lakers steady hands. Derek Fisher came up huge late. After struggling through much of the playoff with his outside shot, Fisher drained a three over the contesting,5'11 Jameer Nelson to force an overtime. The shot was result of a poor decision to double Bryant 70 feet from the basket leaving Jameer Nelson caught in the middle between two shooters in Trevor Ariza and Derek Fisher.
